Blepharoplasty Surgery Instrument Set

Blepharoplasty surgery is a procedure used to remove excess skin and fat from the eyelids. It is also known as an eyelid lift, and can be performed in conjunction with other cosmetic procedures such as forehead lifts, laser resurfacing, or filler injections.

During upper eyelid blepharoplasty surgery, a small incision is made on the eyelid to remove excess skin and/or fat. This helps to get rid of wrinkles and bulges on the lower eyelid, as well as any folded skin hanging over the eyelashes.

The transconjunctival approach is another technique used to avoid scarring. This involves making an incision directly under the eyelid or on the inside of the eyelid. Laser resurfacing can be combined with this approach to eliminate wrinkles or lines. Alternatively, a technique may be used to redistribute fat, remove excess fat or correct a lower eyelid condition without removing skin. All incisions are closed using sutures or skin glue.
